Connecting your Opendorse Account to Hyperwallet

The Big 12 partnered with PayPal as its exclusive payment processor. Athletes at Big 12 schools will instead connect their bank accounts to their Opendorse accounts via PayPal's Hyperwallet processor instead.

To do so, please follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Wallet tab in your Opendorse profile and select Connect Your Account

  2. From there, you will be asked to create your account with Hyperwallet. You will be asked to provide your name, email, date of birth and your address.

  3. After that, you will click Next and be asked to select a payment method type. You will have three options: bank account, PayPal account or a Venmo account.

    1. Bank accounts-- Cash outs normally take 1-3 days to process to a bank account

    2. Paypal accounts-- Cash outs will around 30 minutes to process to a Paypal account. However, there is no account verification process.

    3. Venmo accounts-- Cash outs will around 30 minutes to process to a Paypal account. Like PayPal accounts, there is no account verification process.

Once you have successfully connected your payment method via Hyperwallet, you can return to your Wallet tab in Opendorse and the Withdraw option should appear. Selecting this will allow you to begin the cash-out process for your account balance.

Are there withdrawal fees for cash outs to Hyperwallet?

Not for athletes, no. Opendorse covers standard withdrawal fees for athletes.

What are the withdrawal limits?

Venmo-- $50,000 per day

PayPal-- $100,000 per day

Bank-- $1,000,000 per day.

Can I connect more than 1 transfer method?

Not directly. Athletes can contact Opendorse Support to change their preferred transfer method.

I accidentally entered a typo in my account information when I was connecting my Paypal/Venmo account and cashed out. How can I resolve this?

You will need to contact Hyperwallet's support team for assistance.
