Please note: in order to post to Instagram using Opendorse, you must have the Opendorse Mobile App downloaded and installed on your iOS or Android device. 

1. Receive a notification from Opendorse: 'Content from [Organization] is ready for your review. Click here to review:' with a link

2. Tap the link to open up the content suggestion notification in the Opendorse Mobile App

3. Edit the caption as desired (if applicable) by Tapping 'Edit'

4. Tap 'Approve' or 'Publish' to continue the posting process

1. Tap the link in the notification to open the Mobile App. After approving the scheduled content as indicated in Part 1, Opendorse will send a reminder notification to publish at the scheduled date/time.

Please note: Reminder notifications will expire six hours after the scheduled date/time. After the notification is expired, post will not be able to be completed through Opendorse.

2. View the reminder in your notification stream

3. Tap ‘Publish’ on the reminder notification to continue with the posting process

4. After ‘Publish’ is tapped, Opendorse will automatically copy the approved caption as well as download the media to your device and provide notification if media download to device is still in progress

5. The Opendorse Mobile App will ask to open up the Instagram app - Tap 'OK'

1. After reviewing the content as indicated in Part 1, tap the 'Publish' button

2. Opendorse will automatically copy the approved caption as well as download the media to your device and provide notification if media download to device is still in progress

3. The Opendorse Mobile App will automatically open up the Instagram mobile application

(Skip ahead for Publishing Multiple Media to Your Feed)

1. Tap ‘Feed’ instead of ‘Story’ on the Instagram page

2. The most recent media will be selected which should be the media downloaded from Opendorse.

3. Tap 'Next' in the top right-hand corner when media is loaded up in the post preview correctly

4. Apply filters if desired and tap 'Next' in the top right-hand corner

5. Tap ‘Write a caption…’ and then long press and tap 'Paste' to add the copied caption and then tap ‘OK’ to save the caption.

6. Add any tags and/or location to the post

7. Tap ‘Share’ to publish the post to Instagram

1. Tap ‘Story’ instead of ‘Feed’ on the Instagram page

2. The most recent media will be selected which should be the media downloaded from Opendorse.

3. Tap on the ‘Aa’ button in the top right-hand corner to add text

4. Long press and tap 'Paste' to add the copied caption and then tap ‘Done’ in the top right-hand corner to save the caption

5. Add stickers, tags, markups, etc. if desired

6. Tap ‘Your Story’ to publish the post to your Instagram story

1. Opendorse will open the Instagram App to the Publish screen on the ‘Photo’ tab

2. Tap ‘Library’ in the lower left-hand corner to see device media

3. Select all the media from your device that Opendorse downloaded

4. Tap 'Next' in the top right-hand corner when media is loaded up in the post preview correctly

5. Apply filters if desired and click 'Next' in the top right-hand corner

6. Tap ‘Write a caption…’ and then long press. Click 'Paste' to add the copied caption and then tap ‘OK’ to save the caption.

7. Add any tags and/or location to the post

8. Tap ‘Share’ to publish the post to Instagram

Note: Publishing more than one media at a time to Story is not supported through Instagram
